Description

This is an early to mid-19th century pair of buildings located on New Cross Road. Each building is two storeys high with a basement, and features three windows. They are constructed of yellow stock brick, with a moderately pitched slate roof. The sash windows have glazing bars, and are set within gauged flat brick arches. The doorways have altered doors, fluted quadrant pilasters, a cornice head, and a plain fanlight, all framed by gauged, round brick arches. Wrought iron handrails lead to five stone steps, which are sheltered by a brick arch. Nos 3 to 41 (odd numbers) form a group.
