Description

No. 35 on New Cross Road is an early to mid-19th century small villa. It is two storeys tall with a basement and has three windows. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and features a parapet that partly conceals a moderately pitched slated roof. The sash windows have gauged brick arches, with some windows on the first floor being flat and those on the ground floor set in round-arched recesses. The basement is stuccoed. The entrance has a six-panel door flanked by fluted, attached Doric columns, topped with a moulded cornice and a plain fanlight, all under a round gauged brick arch. Nos. 3 to 41 (odd) form a group.
