Description
This is an early to mid-19th century villa, originally a small building with three windows, two storeys, and a basement. It is constructed of yellow brick with a stucco altered cornice and parapet. The sash windows have moulded architraves and bracketed cills; the ground-floor windows are round-arched with interlacing glazing bars. A run of three steps, featuring a cast iron rail, leads to an altered front door. Fluted, attached columns support the cornice above the door, which has a plain fanlight set within a moulded architrave. The building is part of a group with numbers 3 to 41 on the north side of New Cross Road.
