Description
This is an early 19th century villa, originally with a basement, two storeys, and three windows. The exterior is yellow stock brick with a parapet, and a stucco band runs along the level of the first-floor window sills. A brick plinth marks the basement. The sash windows have gauged, flat brick arches and retain their glazing bars, although the first-floor windows were replaced after war damage and now have six panes each. The round-headed door opening is set within a round arched recess and has a door of six ornamental panels, a cornice head, and a patterned fanlight. Six steps with wrought-iron handrails lead to the front door. The villa forms a group with numbers 87 to 93 on the north side of Blackheath Hill.
