Description

This is a mid-19th century villa of two storeys and a basement, originally featuring three windows. It is built of yellow stock brick with a stucco frieze, a dentil cornice, and parapets. The first-floor side windows are set within raised panels supported by a continuous band. The first-floor windows have moulded architraves, with side sashes containing glazing bars, and a casement window in the centre. The ground floor has three-light sashes with horizontal bars, set within flat stucco surrounds featuring console brackets and a pediment. A five-step approach leads to a prostyle Doric porch with fluted columns. The front door is a four-panel design with a rectangular fanlight and a bracketed cornice. Cast iron guards are present on the ground-floor windows, and curved wrought iron area covers are also part of the building's features. Numbers 207 to 229 (odd numbers) form a group.
