Description

This is a house dating from around 1830 to 1840. It is constructed of multicoloured stock brick with a stucco frieze, cornice, blocking course, and a band at the level of the first-floor window sills. The roof is hidden behind a parapet. The house has two storeys and a basement, with two windows on the front elevation. The windows are sash windows, with gauged brick arches above them. The first-floor windows have 12 panes of glass. The ground-floor windows are round-headed with margin lights. A doorcase is located on the left-hand side, incorporating a five-panelled door with a mutule cornice above it and a patterned fanlight. There are six steps leading to the door, with a cast iron handrail.
