Description
No 87 on Blackheath Hill is an early 19th-century building that was originally an extension to No 89 but is now a separate dwelling. It stands three storeys tall with two windows and is constructed of multicoloured stock brick. The building features a wide stone cornice band and a brick parapet that conceals the roof. The sash windows have gauged brick arches and delicate glazing bars, set in stucco lined reveals. The windows on the first and second floors are flat, while the ground floor windows are round arched with radial glazing at the heads. The west side of the building has been significantly altered and extended. No 87 is noted for its group value with No 89, and together with Nos 87 to 93 (odd), they form a cohesive group.
