Description

The forecourt walls to Montague House and the Annexe, along with the garden wall to the east, are low walls constructed of stock brick dating from the 18th century. In front of Montague House, there are a pair of square piers at the west end and a single pier at the east end. The brick wall in front of "The Annexe" ramps up at the east end, leading to a stretch of higher wall along the north side of the garden.
