Description
No 28 on Dartmouth Row is an early to mid-18th century house with two storeys and an attic, designed in an L-shape. The left projecting section features two windows, while the inner return has two windows as well. There is one window in the set-back part, and an attic casement window is located under a hipped gable on the left. The house has parapet fronts and features gauged yellow brick arches above replaced sash windows, which have glazing bars in flush, moulded frames. The inner angle, which is rendered on the ground floor, contains two original sash windows and a small round window above an altered door that has a plain rectangular fanlight beneath a bracketed flat hood. The rear elevation is weatherboarded and includes early to mid-19th century casements. No 28 is part of a group that includes Nos 28 to 36A (even).
