Description
This is an early 18th-century house that has been altered over time. It is three storeys high with three windows, arranged irregularly. The building has a steeply pitched, double-span pantiled roof with chimneys at each end. The walls are stuccoed and feature a parapet front and a band at the first-floor level. The first and second-floor windows are late 19th-century sash windows, with the left window on each floor blocked. On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars on the left side, and an early-to-mid 19th-century double shop front, with glazing bars and panelled stallrisers, on the right. A narrow, set-back entrance extension on the right side features a six-panel door. An early 19th-century canted oriel is located on the first floor of the left return. The fascia and cornice of the shop front have been restored. The building contributes to the group value of Nos. 87 to 93 (odd).
