Description

This is a mid-19th century house of three storeys and a basement, featuring three windows. The exterior is constructed of yellow stock brick, topped with a moderately pitched slate roof with bracketed eaves. A stucco band runs along the second-floor cills. The sash windows have margin lights and are set within moulded architraves; those on the first floor are adorned with console bracketed cornices and segmental pediments. The ground-floor windows have stucco surrounds, cornices with large dentils on brackets, and patterned cast iron guards. The entrance consists of a four-panel door, the upper two panels being of engraved glass, accompanied by a plain rectangular fanlight, all within a prostyle porch featuring square columns and a large-dentilled cornice. Ornamental urns are situated on the side walls, leading to six stone steps. Nos 160 to 186 (even) form a group.
