Description
This is a detached house built in 1862 as part of the planned layout of Holland Park. It is constructed of stucco and has three storeys, an attic, and a basement. The house is three bays wide, arranged symmetrically as 1:1:1. The ground floor has channelling, and a central entrance is accessed by steps with a wrought and cast iron glazed canopy. Two-storey canted bay windows flank the entrance, each featuring Ionic pilasters to the upper storey. Pilasters are also present on the outer windows of the second floor, and a small balustraded balcony is situated above the central window. A rich cornice runs along the top of the building. The attic was remodelled in stucco, retaining its central window. Cast iron balconies are located on the ground floor.
