Description
The former service range, located immediately to the northwest of Valley Farmhouse, is a detached structure now used as a farm store. It dates from the 17th century, with later additions. Originally, it was timber framed and plastered on the north side, while the rest has been largely rebuilt in red brick. The roof is covered with black pantiles and the building is one and a half storeys high. The original range consists of two cells, featuring exposed joists and roof structure. The eastern part of the building, which includes an internal stack, is a later addition, likely from the 19th century. The structure has various windows and boarded doors, including one diamond-mullioned window on the north side.
