Description

The Thatched Cottage is a house with an early 18th century core that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features roughcast and whitewashed brick with a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with a dormer attic. There is a gabled porch made of plain tiles located to the right of the center, which is dated 1625. To the right, there is one 2-light casement window from the 20th century, and to the left, there are two similar casements, all of which have leaded lights. The roof is gabled, and there are two gabled dormers with plain tiles that are offset to the left. A ridge stack is situated to the right of the center, along with a northern internal gable end stack.
