Description
Hoggs Farm is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 20th century. It has a timber-framed structure that is plastered, and the roof is mainly thatched, featuring handmade red clay tiles on and around the dormer. The building consists of four bays aligned approximately east to west, with an axial chimney stack located in the second bay from the west, which creates a lobby entrance to the south. There is an external chimney stack on the east side. The west end has a 20th-century porch, and the house is single storey with attics. The porch has a tiled gable, and there are three 20th-century casement windows, along with another casement window in a tiled gabled dormer above the second bay from the west. The roof is half-hipped at both ends.
