Description
Thatch End is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a thatched roof. The building consists of four bays arranged approximately northwest to southeast, with a northeast aspect. There is an axial chimney stack located in the second bay from the northwest end, which creates a lobby-entrance. An external chimney stack is situated at the southern end of the house. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear. The house is a single storey with attics and has a 20th-century door at the front of a tiled gabled porch. It also includes three 20th-century casement windows and three additional casement windows in tiled gabled dormers.
