Description
Richmond House is an 18th-century house that features a timber frame with plastering and is roofed with handmade red clay tiles. The building consists of two parallel ranges aligned northeast to southwest, with a northwest aspect. The front range has side chimney stacks, while the rear range has one chimney stack at the back, accompanied by a single-storey range beyond. The house is two storeys tall.
The central entrance has a six-panel door set within a plain doorcase that includes an open pediment and a fanlight with radiating tracery. On the ground floor, there are two double-hung sash windows, each with 16 lights; one is from the 18th century, and the other is a reproduction. The first floor features two double-hung sash windows of 16 lights each, along with one window over the door that has 12 lights, all dating from the 18th century. The building is topped with a parapet that has a dentilled cornice.
