Description
Debenham's Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It has a timber frame that is plastered and features a thatched roof. The building follows a three-bay, three-cell lobby entrance plan and consists of one storey and an attic. The entrance is located to the right of the centre and includes 20th-century casements, along with a two-light glazing bar casement box dormer. There is an offset plinth, and between the hall and parlour, there is an axial ridge stack that has been rebuilt at the cap. The gable ends reveal exposed plates and purlins, with double purlins on the right side. At the rear, there is a half-glazed door and a dormer. Inside, the frame is concealed, but there is a stop-chamfered cross axial binding beam, jowled storey posts, and a side purlin roof.
