Description
The Baptist Chapel, dated 1756, is a two-storey building constructed of red brick in Flemish bond. It features a ridged, gabled, and slated roof with a shallow pitch. The eaves are bold and have mutules on both sides, along with gable verges. A Diocletian recess is located in the gable. On the east front, there are three hornless sash windows on the first storey, set in exposed boxes and topped with straight gauged arches. The central entrance consists of a pair of doors with six fielded panels, housed in a wide case that has scrolled brackets supporting broken swan-neck cornices adorned with swags. Small-paned sashes flank the doors, also under matching arches, and there is a stone sill-band below.
