Description

The barn at Stalham Hall Farm dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick on a brick plinth and features a thatched roof. The south side has a central set of full-height double doors, which are flanked by pilasters on either side. There are slit ventilation lights beyond the pilasters and a pedestrian door to the left of the main entrance. The north side also has two full-height double doors and an outshut to the east. The gabled roof includes tumbling in the gable heads and is supported by tie beams on arched braces, with two tiers of staggered butt purlins, cambered collars, and straight windbracing over the doors.
