Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1811, as noted on the west gable, with an earlier 18th century cross wing at the rear. The building is constructed of red brick with a gault brick facade and features a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The facade is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central entrance has a 20th century half-glazed door set in a timber case, which is adorned with reeded engaged columns that have bases and capitals. The hood above the door includes a reeded frieze. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are topped with gauged skewback arches, all featuring ogee scalloped sash hoods. The eaves cornice is made of timber modillion. The roof is gabled with a bell base and has internal end stacks. The cross wing includes 20th century details.
