Description
Stewards House is a house dating from around 1700, constructed of brick with a pantiled roof, featuring black glazed pantiles on the south slope. The south front has two storeys and a dormer attic, arranged in three bays, with a central 20th-century door. There is a vitrified brick platband between the storeys. The windows are 2-light cross casements with original iron casements and leaded lights, all set under segmental arches. The roof has a bell-based gable above an early 19th-century eaves cornice, with two gabled dormers and internal gable end stacks. The gable head displays tumbling. On the north side, there is a full-length outshut beneath a catslide roof, featuring one 20th-century door and four 20th-century casements, all under segmental arches, along with two gabled dormers. The interior is largely from the late 20th century.
