Description

This is an 18th-century stable block and granary situated on the north side of Old Yarmouth Road in Stalham. The building is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick with a pantile roof. It is two storeys high and features a loose box door positioned to the left of the center and a cartshed entry to the right. Three stable windows with bars are visible. A central hayloft door is located above. The roof is gabled. The interior of the loose boxes incorporates re-used 16th-century roll-moulded bridging beams and joists. The building is included on the list for its group value.
