Description

This is an 18th-century stableblock located approximately 5 metres north of the farmhouse at Ladle Farm. The building is constructed of squared, coursed limestone, with bands of lias stone and ashlar quoins. It has a corrugated iron roof. Originally, it likely comprised three bays. The central bay features a plank stable door with a timber lintel, and to either side are casement windows with eight panes of glass, each also beneath a timber lintel. A hayloft door is positioned in the left gable end. The interior retains its original hayloft floor, although the roof is not visible. The building is included on the register for its group value within the wider farm complex.
