Description
Manor Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared, coursed limestone with ashlar quoins and features a thatched roof with a brick ridge and end stack. The building has two storeys plus an attic and presents a three-window range in a unit plan.
On the ground floor, there is a plank door with a wooden lintel to the left and centre right. The centre features a four-light, ovolo-moulded, wooden casement window with an ovolo-moulded lintel. To the far right, there is a 19th-century three-light, ovolo-moulded casement window with a wooden lintel. On the first floor, to the left and centre, there are three-light, ovolo-moulded casement windows with leaded lights, while a 20th-century three-light casement window is located to the right. Additionally, there is a 20th-century three-light dormer.
