Description
Jack O'Knights is a house that dates from the 16th or 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building is rendered and colourwashed, topped with thatch and features two brick stacks. It has a single storey and an attic, with a layout of two bays on the left and two bays on the right. The windows include 2-light and 3-light casements with glazing bars, except for the two windows on the right side of the ground floor, which have diamond-paned lights. The extreme right window is located in a single-storey outshut that has a triple-Roman tile roof. There is a door opening situated between the bay sets, featuring a plank door within a gabled porch. A 20th-century addition is present on the left side of the house. The property is included in the register mainly due to its prominent position alongside the road.
