Description
Estcourt House is a house from the last quarter of the 18th century, located in Burnham Market on Front Street. It is constructed of whitewashed red brick with a red pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. There are two ground floor and three first floor sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals under flat brick arches. The house features a notable late 18th century doorcase with two fluted pilasters, a panelled entablature and reveals, a six-panel raised and fielded door, and a fanlight with radial glazing bars and swags. The eaves are finished with a coped parapet, and there are two stacks at the ends of the building. Attached to the rear is a two-storey service wing made of flint, brick, and red pantiles. Additionally, spear-topped railings are attached to the property.
