Description
Ivy House, Winearls, Wittons, and No. 19 is a row of four cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and topped with black glazed pantiles, standing two storeys high. Ivy House, located at the west end, features one ground floor and one first floor plate glass sash window from around 1900, along with a six-panel door. Winearls has two ground floor plate glass sashes and two first floor sashes with glazing bars, as well as a six-panel door. Wittons includes two inserted 20th-century ground floor bow windows with glazing bars and two first floor sashes with glazing bars, along with a 20th-century raised and fielded door. No. 19, at the east end, has a single ground floor and first floor sash window with glazing bars, and a six-panel door with two upper glazed panels. All openings are adorned with plastered and painted lintels. The row features a first floor platband, two end stacks, and two ridge stacks. This building is included for its group value.
