Description
M. and A. Cringle Antique Shop is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the 18th century. It features colourwashed brick and a red pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the ground floor, there are two plate glass shop windows from around 1900, which have glazing bars and are surrounded by moulded and bracketed surrounds. The first floor has two sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance is a central part-glazed door, also from around 1900. The roof has swept eaves and includes a single pedimented two-light casement window with lead glazing bars. There are two end stacks and a coped parapet gable on the west side. The building is included in the register primarily for its group value.
