Description

Craig House, located at number 65 on the south side of Market Place in Burnham Market, is an early 19th-century house. The building is constructed of red brick with a red pantiled roof. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor features one sash window with glazing bars, set beneath a flat brick arch. Above are two sash windows with glazing bars, each set within a skewback soldier arch. A wooden doorcase with fluted pilasters, a panelled frieze, and reveals frames a six-panel raised and fielded door, the upper two panels being glazed. Two 20th-century casement windows have been inserted either side of the doorway. Moulded brick eaves are present, and the end gable has a coped parapet and brick stacks. A second pile of brickwork extends at the rear of the property.
