Description

Hammonds House is a house, cottage, and a range of cottages located on Market Place in Burnham Market. This building dates back to the 18th century. The northern section features colourwashed pebble dash and red pantiled roofs. It consists of a two-storey, two-bay cottage to the north and a three-bay house to the south. The cottage has two ground floor and one first floor casement windows, while the house has four ground floor and three first floor sash windows, all of which are from the 20th century. The return along Front Street to the north is made of flint and brick with red pantiles, and all openings are also from the 20th century. The building is included primarily for its group value.
