This is a house located at 72 London Road, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys set on a plinth, featuring a moulded wooden cornice with eaves and a parapet above a hipped roof. There are two brick stacks that project from the ends of the roof.

The front of the house has a regular arrangement of windows, with two glazing bar sash windows in 18th-century bolection moulded surrounds on the first floor, and two glazing bar sash windows with gauged heads on the ground floor. The central entrance door consists of six panels and is topped by a semi-circular traceried fanlight, which is framed by an open pediment supported by pilasters.
