Description
Leacon Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a basement, set on a plinth, with a brick modillion eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof that features stacks on both the left and right sides. The windows are regularly arranged, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all topped with gauged heads. The central entrance door consists of six moulded panels, with the top two being glazed. This door is framed by a moulded architrave surround and a cornice supported by Doric columns. There is a relieving arch to the bottom right, which leads to a now-covered basement opening.
