House, now 2 houses, C17 or early C18. Timberframed, part weatherboarded and part plastered, with a steep thatched roof half hipped at W end. A 2 storeys 3 windows house facing S. 3- unit plan originally with central chimney one third from W end and small gable chimney at E. Now extended at E and divided into 2 houses. Extension not of special interest. The central and left part of the front has dark weatherboarding on both floors and a continuous dripboard over the lower openings. This continues across the right hand part which is plastered above but dark weatherboarded below. Plank door with battens on extreme right of centre section with wider inclined board on pierced and shaped brackets. 1 window to each floor in each part. 3-light flush casements on left and centre. 4-light flush casements on right. Weatherboarded W gable. An historic timberframed thatched house. Part of a picturesque group in this part of the Conservation Area.
