Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is timber-framed and weatherboarded, standing over a high tarred plinth. The cottage features a hipped slate roof and a grey brick square central chimney. This large L-shaped house has two storeys and three windows along the south front that faces the road. There is a lean-to slated enclosed porch with a six-panel door, and the windows are a mix of two-light and three-light flush casements. At the eastern end, there is a one-storey rendered extension. The cottage is a picturesque example of 19th-century architecture and is part of a group of buildings in this area of the Conservation Area, which adds to its group value.
