Description

This is a cottage dating from the 19th century. It's built with a clay lump core, rendered with a colour-washed rough cast finish. The roof is slate-covered. The cottage has a two-room plan and two storeys, with a central red brick ridge stack serving two back-to-back fireplaces. The south-facing elevation has a central 20th-century front door, flanked by one ground-floor window on the left-hand side and two windows, one at ground and one first floor. The windows are horizontal sash windows with glazing bars. The building has a gable end facing the road.
