Description
A cottage, originally a pair of cottages, dating from the 19th century. The building is constructed of local chequered brick, with a pantiled roof. It has a 4-room plan, with a single-bay extension added in the 20th century to the north-east gable end. The cottage is two stories high. The ground floor has two 2-light horizontal sash windows positioned under cambered heads, while the first floor has four 2-light horizontal sash windows, all with glazing bars. The left-hand entrance door has been replaced by a projecting bay. The right-hand entrance door is protected by a 20th-century gabled open porch. A red brick ridge stack, originally marking the division between the two cottages, sits along the centre of the roof.
