Description

Ivy House is a house, likely dating to the 17th or 18th century, and altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and rough cast over a timber frame, with a slate roof. The house has an L-shaped layout. The main block is two storeys high and features a single two-light horizontal sash window, and two sash windows on the ground floor. The first floor has three two-light horizontal sash windows. All these windows have glazing bars. There is one red brick double ridge stack and one red brick integral gable end stack. A projecting left-hand wing includes a projecting bay window on the ground floor, a sash window on the first floor, and a single-storey lean-to to the left, all with glazing bars.
