Description

This is a barn dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, located at Town Farm, bordering road number 10. The barn is timber framed and sits on a red brick plinth, featuring some red brick infill and sections of weatherboarding. It has a pantiled roof and consists of five bays.

On the east elevation, there is substantial 17th-century timber framing with fairly close studding, and it includes double doors in the first and fourth bays. The west elevation has less substantial 18th-century timbers, weatherboarding, and a pair of double doors serving the three right-hand bays. Additionally, there is a lower 19th-century wing that projects from the north side of the east elevation.
