Description

Moat Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It features a colour-washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has a 20th-century tiled roof. The building has a three-room plan and stands two storeys tall. The north elevation displays two casement windows on the ground floor and three casement windows on the first floor, along with one single fixed light on each floor, all of which are from the 20th century. There is a red brick double ridge stack and a lean-to addition on the west gable end. The entrances are located at the rear, with the western entrance featuring a 20th-century lean-to porch.
