Description
Bridge Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse featuring a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and an old clay tile roof. The building has a T-plan layout, with the main block having two storeys and the cross-wing having two storeys and attics.
On the east elevation, the ground floor includes a 2-light casement window, a half-glazed door set in a moulded surround, and a rectangular projecting bay with casements that have glazing bars, along with a door sheltered by a sloping-roofed wood porch. The first floor has a single 2-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars.
The south elevation has two 2-light casements on both the ground and first floors, as well as two hipped dormers featuring 2-light horizontal sashes with glazing bars. A red brick multiple ridge stack is present, and there is a one-storey colour washed brick addition on the north gable end.
