Description
Church Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It features a timber-framed construction, although the ground floor studs have been removed and replaced with 20th-century brick, while the first floor has colourwashed plaster infill. The roof is covered with clay tiles. The building has a five-bay plan and stands two storeys high. On the ground floor, there are two three-light and two two-light casement windows, and on the first floor, there are four two-light casements, all from the 20th century and fitted with leaded lights. A 20th-century door is located in the second bay from the left. Additionally, there is a red brick external stack that has been rebuilt on the south gable end.
