Description

Talland Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century. It is a timber-framed building set upon a high brick plinth, with red brick infill. The roof is of clay tiles. The house originally comprised two rooms over two storeys. On the ground floor are one three-light window and one two-light window, both with pointed arched upper lights. The first floor has two three-light casement windows and one single-light window. A plank door is located on the left-hand side. A substantial red brick external stack is present on the left-hand gable end, while a rendered brick integral stack sits on the right-hand gable end. A parallel extension was added to the rear in the 20th century.
