Description

The John O'Gaunt Public House is an 18th-century public house located on the south side of High Street in Sutton. It features colourwashed roughcast render that likely covers a timber-framed structure, topped with clay tile roofs. The building is designed in a T-plan and consists of one storey with attics. On the ground floor, there are three four-light casement windows with glazing bars. The attic includes three gabled dormers, each with two-light casement windows also featuring glazing bars. A 20th-century gabled porch is present, and there are two red brick ridge stacks.
