Description

This is an early 19th-century house, possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is built with roughcast render over a timber frame, set on a high brick plinth, and has a thatched roof. Originally a four-room plan, it may have been two cottages. The front elevation facing the High Street has two windows, while the gable ends each feature a single window on each floor. The rear elevation has four windows on the ground floor and three gabled dormers in the attic, with the central dormer being blind. All windows are pointed-arched with Y-tracery and contain casements. A central pointed-arched doorway is located on the rear elevation, with a door featuring pointed-arched panels. A red brick stack rises centrally along the double ridge.
