Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later modifications made in the 19th century. The main part of the building is constructed with a timber frame, while later additions are made of brick, and most of the exterior is covered with colourwashed roughcast render. The roof is tiled and dates from the 20th century. The house has a complex plan and is two storeys high, with the original structure likely being T-shaped.

On the north elevation, which faces the road, the left-hand gable features one sash window on each floor, both with glazing bars. The central block has a sash window with glazing bars as well. The right-hand gable includes a 19th-century canted bay window. There is a lean-to porch at the angle formed by the right-hand gable, which shelters a door in the side wall of the gable and a sash window from the central block. A red brick multiple ridge stack is located at the junction of the central block and the left-hand gable, while there are red brick gable end stacks at the rear of the left-hand gable and at the front of the right-hand gable.
