Description

Callow Cottage is a late 17th-century house, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. Originally listed as Callow Farm Cottage, it is timber-framed with rendered infill and has a tile roof. The house is L-shaped, with the front section extending northwest and the rear to the southwest, each section being two framed bays wide. A brick external stack is located at the southeast end of the front range. The house has one storey and an attic, lit by two gabled dormers. The front has two 19th-century casement windows; a three-light window to the left and a two-light window to the right. The entrance is through a lean-to addition against the stack. The timber frame consists of three rectangular panels in height.
