Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1754, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and has an asbestos tile roof with stone-coped verges and gable end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, which is lit by two gabled dormers. It features a moulded cornice and plinth, a band at the ground floor, and a string course at the first floor, along with chamfered quoins. There are three windows, which are 3-light casements adorned with fluted painted and corniced keystones. The central keystone is inscribed with "RH/ 1754". The main entrance is framed by plain pilasters and has a moulded cornice, a 2-pane overlight, and a 4-panelled door.
