14.3.69 - II

Barn. Probably late C18. Timber-framed on high brick plinth with header ventilation courses, weatherboarded, plain tile roof. Three framed bays with central wagon bay and opposed square-headed cart entries. Framing: long rectangular panels from sill to wall-plate, long straight braces across lower corners, collar-and-tie-beam trusses with queen struts below collar and king posts above. Interior: roof has double row of trenched purlins and two intermediate collar-and-tie-beam trusses with raking struts. Weatherboarding on south gable end partially removed.
