Description

Waterford Lodge is a barn dating from the late 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill, part of which is weatherboarded, and has a tiled roof. The structure consists of four structural bays. The third bay on the main northwest elevation includes opposed cart entries and a projecting gabled porch. To the left of the porch is a 19th-century brick outshut, while a timber-framed outshut is located to the right. Inside, there are three raking strut trusses with trenched purlins, large diagonal braces in the wall frames, and bay divisions. The bay to the right of the porch contains a hayloft.
